Chas Everitt Celebrates the Pink Polo with a Purpose on Val de Vie Estate
This past Saturday the Chas Everitt team joined a world-class event with great purpose, better known as the Pink Polo and presented by Biomedical Emporium on Val de Vie Estate.
This year the Pink Polo celebrated a decade of polo with a purpose. The event pays tribute to the survivors of breast cancer and serves as a platform to raise awareness for a disease that is most prevalent in women but also affects a high number of men.
The Chas Everitt team supported this worthy cause in style while experiencing luxury hospitality in the Winelands. The event hosted South Africa's elite for a day of celebrations, riveting polo and fashion.
The main attraction of the day were the the polo ponies. They kicked off the event with a pony parade of sixty pure bred polo ponies led by 'Libby', the horse that belonged to polo player Johan du Plooy who lost his battle to cancer earlier in 2019.
Team Hisense beat team Biomedical Emporium 6 - 5 in a spectacular main polo match dominated by Best Playing Pony of the day - 'Sugar' - a magnificent horse owned by polo player George Morgan.
The first step towards change is awareness and the Chas Everitt Luxury Winelands team was proud to be a part of this year's Pink Polo event honoring breast cancer survivors and fighters!
